Rocky Taylor - The stunt that went right

Death Wish 3 stunt recreatedA stuntman who has starred in James Bond, Superman and Indiana Jones films has successfully performed a fiery jump which almost killed him 26 years ago. In 1985 Rocky Taylor broke his pelvis while filming Death Wish 3 - which featured Charles Bronson as vigilante Paul Kersey - when a stunt went wrong.
With a building on fire, the Briton leapt without knowing what lay beneath - and he tumbled onto concrete, causing him extensive injuries.
But in his recreated stunt, the 64-year-old jumped from the same height on a specially erected flaming platform at London's Battersea Power Station.
A crowd, which included many of Taylor's friends and family, gave the stuntman a countdown before he jumped and battled with the blazing tower.
