Muslim organization Sharia4Belgium temporarily lost its absolute leader with the arrest of Fouad Belkacem alias Abu Imran

Belkacem also risking a prison sentence of six years in Morocco as his Belgian nationality is snatched away.

Fouad Belkacem was arrested yesterday and held by the trial court for inciting hatred against non-Muslims.

Though his arrest was not a big surprise after his role in the riots in Molenbeek ,
the potential consequences for Belkacem himself can be very seriously.

Morocco ask since 2007 for his extradition because he still have a prison sentence of six years to
serve for drug trafficking.

The only reason why Belgium does not extradite him is that he carries dual nationality.

But after his arrest yesterday Justice Minister Annemie Turtelboom (Open VLD)
said that every effort is made to take the Belgian nationality away from Belkacem


At last Belgium Government and Justice is convinced that Belkacem can not be underestimated.

He evolved from a clownish figure who operated only in Antwerp, to a extremist with
international prestige.

Justice will therefore do everything keep him in the cell
