Scientist Develops Trout With Six-Pack Abs

A 10-year effort by University of Rhode Island scientist Terry Bradley to develop transgenic rainbow trout with enhanced muscle growth has yielded fish with what have been described as six-pack abs and muscular shoulders. This development could ultimately provide a boost to the aquaculture industry.

      The fresh salmon sashimi (raw salmon) tastes buttery and feels velvety with perfect marbling.

    • Aye , they're all polluted to an extent . Most of the pollution stays near the coastlines . Where we farm our seafish . I've know a few guys who've worked on the farms , and they're allowed a take home , very few take it . Coz like the chickens , about a third of their diet's drugs to at least try and keep them healthy , but they're not .     • These trouts are fed with wild fish (pellets are made of FISH), so you get higher concentrated shit using farmed fish. Every kilo of farmed fish needs many kilos of perfectly good wild fish to grow. Farming is like shooting in your own foot.

  • I worked on a salmon farm in Norway and we'd get free salmon fairly often, but usually the only ones who would take it were the 'asylum seekers'. The meat is close to tasteless and almost a freakish color from the dyes introduced with the food. Not to mention the parasites, ulcers, and various other nasty shit that comes from being penned underwater.
