Its OK to let things die.

to move on, to cry.

this whole world is full of mistakes.

to live to learn, that's all it takes.

the places we go, and the people we see.

the pain we feel, and the ones we let be.

the regrets that we leave hanging around our necks.

the tears we,ve cried as this silence infects.

the hands once held, are lifted in shame.

the once smiling faces, all turn amidts the blame.

The Purpose of friendship, the brotherhood of love.

They are all soon forgotten, scorned from above.

This argument has gone on now for way too long.

This grudge we hold, has uncovered all we do wrong.

War wadges in the hearts of the betrayed.

Spreading this cancer as the bricks are laid.

Building this wall, forgetting all that's in the past.

Keeping out what we once loved, this hatred is so vast.

For all simple things, a spark, now a raging fire.

To see you cry, to see you break, such a wicked desire.

Who is this, that keeps your heart silent.

Once a true friendship, now turns violent.

Why is it that we cannot forgive.

Why do we hate, just to live.

Are the memories in our hearts not strong enough.

We've had our tragedies, we've all had it rough.

We were once so strong, together an unsinkable ship.

Now the hull has been broken, and the water begins to drip.

As together we sink, drowning in the waters we create.

Too stubborn to see, the effects of this deadly debate.

We have the means to fix this as the ship goes down.

Yet we look into each others eyes just to watch one another drown.
