On Friday, September 5, 2003, at approximately 12:03 p.m., the Division of Occupational Safety and Health, Permanent Amusement Ride Unit, Anaheim District Office (The Division) received a phone call from Disneyland Resort , reporting that a serious accident and possible fatality had occurred on Friday, September 5, 2003 at approximately 11:18 a.m. The accident was reported to have occurred on an attraction known as the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, located at Disneyland Resort

    No kidding. My neighbor and his family were on the old submarine ride at Disney World(forget the name, its gone now), when they're grandfather had a heart attack. The sub had to go back to the dock to get him out, which took about 10 minutes, during which the grandfather died. They settled out of court and never said what the settlement amount was, but they did end up buying a second house and spent ~300k on their yard More..

    I know where I'm going for vacation when I'm an old man! Maybe next summer who knows.
