Riot at Belfast City Hall

WARNING: Loud Siren Alert, Turn Down Your Speakers!

Belfast city councilors voted 29-21 on December 3 to restrict the flying of the Union Jack at city hall from every day of the year to just 15, leading to protests by hundreds of flag-waving loyalists. A number of the protesters attempted to force their way into city hall, clashing with PSNI officers and injuring 5 of them before the situation calmed down.

In this video, protesters attack PSNI Land Rovers as they try to approach city hall with crowbars and at one point, an Union Jack on a flagpole.
