CDG Cartel Members Execute Two Loz Zetas in Ciudad Victoria, Tampaulipas.
"This is by far one of the sharpest, best quality videos to come out of Mexico, though it’s also not as graphic as what usually comes out of Mexico. In the video, a group of alleged Cartel Del Golfo (CGD) members, driving around in a pickup truck, shoot at two security officers and later interrogate and execute two members of the Los Zetas cartel in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas.

The video begins with a message which reads (in Mexican Spanish):

Comandante Diablo y El Chapo siembran el terror de Ciudad Victoria. Cuídense ojetes, ya llegamos, vamos por ustedes

Translated to English, the message roughly means:

Commander Diablo and El Chapo planting terror in Ciudad Victoria. Watch out assholes, we are coming for you.

The shooting of security guards took place at the kilometer 4 of the road between Laborcitas and La Misión in Ciudad Victoria. The guards were at the entrance to the detention and rehabilitation center. According to the witnesses who observed the shooting, the incident took place on Friday April 20, 2012 at around 5pm.

After the shooting, the hooded sicarios are seen interrogating a young man on the truck bed. The man, whose face radiates fear maintains that he does not work for Los Zetas and is merely a drug user, that all he does is buy pot and that he has a wife. The video then cuts to a brief footage in which the sicarios are leaving the executed body of the man in the bush, but one returns to it and pops a couple more rounds to his head.

After that, a different man, wearing a SONY t-shirt is seen kneeling on the ground surrounded by three hooded, AR-15s armed sicarios who also briefly interrogate him. One sicario holds the man by his hair while another one swings hunting knife before his face. At one point the man shows a small bag of marijuana and is shortly after executed by gunshots to the head.

Cartel Del Golfo (The Gulf Cartel) has been operating out of the state of Tamaulipas since the 1970′s which makes it one of the oldest, still active drug cartels in Mexico. CDG has close ties with the Sinaloa Cartel and together, as we have seen a lot lately, they are on a mission to drive Los Zetas out of the area.

The drive by shooting at the beginning of the video claimed a life of one security officer. Drug cartel members killing one another that’s one thing, but I feel bad for the officer who was gunned down doing his job.

It’s also pretty obvious that Mexican drug cartel enjoy and make good use of all those modern weapons provided to them by the US Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Operation “Fast and Furious” is sure bearing fruit."
