Glad to see he was wearing his helmet and other gear.
That might have saved him from worse injuries.

lucky for him, unlucky for his bike. Glad he was able to walk away without any serious injury (at least none we can see anyway

@Brad Dell Apparently bikers are invisible and we routinely come out of nowhere. This never tallies with my version of reality, but that's the purview of many a cager.

Riders lucky. Too many blind fucking morons on the road who should never be allowed on public streets.

I just began riding a few days ago and I've already had to avoid two cars who didn't see me.

@MadMan44 Always take in consideration that car drivers don't see you, i'm a biker and i do the same, i drive in a defense way coz most of the drivers are blind.

Motorcycle riders are like snowboarders to skiers.

@hamburger As a biker I can absolutely sympathize with the analogy, amusingly appropriate, as a biker though, I often have more options, far more agility, so I disagree with it. Sadly this rider did too many things wrong, it doesn't matter much if the car is legally wrong, this accident was avoidable simply by easing off the throttle and practicing basic road craft.

So many idiot drivers out there is the reason why I don't ride that much anymore, majority of these accidents are a result of incompetent f'ing drivers that turn right in front of a motorcycle because their brains don't even register that a motorcycle is there..

@soilentgreene A speeding fucking biker is almost impossible to see until it's too late.

@Reincarnator I give up trying to make you people understand that you cannot turn into oncoming traffic wherever the f'k you please , follow basic rules of the road, get glasses if nearsighted ,
Studies say that inattentive drivers do not see motorcycles coming towards them because the brain doesn't register a motorcycle as a danger..I'm not making it up .

@Reincarnator Furthermore if drivers would just learn to signal ..just a simple signal , a rider would be aware of the possible danger and he would slow down, even if he's not speeding , or honk to make sure the driver notices him... Just watch all these accidents, and youll notice that just about not a single driver signals his intent..
