West Palm Beach Police Reviewing Taser Incident

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A South Florida man shot video that may be leading to an internal affairs investigation.

On May 15, Wayne Patenaude shot video of West Palm Beach Police on Clematis Street at about 2:45 in the morning. The video shows that several West Palm Beach Police officers have a guy pinned up against a doorway. There is shouting going on and it difficult to understand what is being said.

  • I read the story in the link. The only thing that really bothers me is that the cops said the guy was running away....which is clearly not the case. When cops lie on police reports, we have a serious problem. I couldn't see enough of what was going on to decide if the tazer was really warranted or not.

  • 50 years ago, when told you were under arrest, 90% of the time the suspect would go willingly.


    it has completely flipped now, and people wonder why the police are so much on edge. cause they deal with a higher rate of idiots who want to make their job tougher.

    then, when someone forces them to execute their abilities, they are called monsters and are accused of overstepping their power.


    all the while, simple common sense would avoid any negative contact with a police officer.
