WalMart Shoplifter Shot Dead
WOODHAVEN - Police have just confirmed that a shooting at Walmart, 2300 Allen Road, ended in the death of one man.
According
to police, a man and woman were caught shoplifting on surveillance
cameras. Police tried to confront the pair in the parking lot when the
alleged shoplifters tried to run officers down with a car.
Officers then opened fire, resulting in the man's death.
The woman fled on foot.
10 p.m. Officers arrested the woman after a short chase.
