Coyote pack lures dog: classic coordinated death trap
Your suburban dog just disappeared one day? And you live in coyote brush country? Above is what probably happened, as the coyotes playfully coordinate to try to lure this suburban dog away from safety. This is when they attack, kill, and eat your pet. This could be considered a type of stalking behavior (though really fast).
This dog was lucky it's owner was right there to keep calling it back, or it would have been doomed.
Classic coyote predator behavior caught on tape. Never let your suburban dog play with a pack of coyotes. It will lose. Now, country dogs are a different story.

that's when you shoot one of the coyotes and string it up, they won't come back for a very long time after that.
