Remember

Always remember, Never Forget

For every individual who dies in combat it is a personal sacrifice to the cause of freedom. For the family it is a tragic shattering. For the community, for the nation, it is a reminder that "the tree of liberty must from time to time be watered with the blood of patriots".

Today we remember and salute all of the individuals who have died that we might be free.

Always Remember, Never Forget.

A time to be born, a time to die.....

A time for war, and a time for peace....

And there is a time for DANCE!"

  • In the old days warriors used to see death in combat as the best reward they could earn. They never forced sheeple on a guilt trip.

  • Quoted comment by GODsucksBALLS: you are an idiot if you think those troops fight for freedom.

they died for oil and crusades. that's what bush wanted... do you really think bush or obama gives a rats ass to some kid who died

good riddance ignorant sheep thinking he fights for freedom... if he had a brain and read some history he would've see how many people you yanks massacred in Vietnam.

Sir, I have never thought of myself as an idiot. But you apparently cannot express and opposing opinion without resorting to personal attacks. The personal attack is the last resort of the mentally challenged.

Today is the day that we in the United States honor those who have given their lives for the defense of our countries ideals and shores. I know that you have no similay day of recognition because Switzerland has sat out and cried "just leave me aloooooonnne!" for how many centuries? When is it time to stand up and be counted for the ideals of your society sir? It wasn't time when the Jews and the Gypsies were being used as firewood. Pfffft. Begone you annoy me.

  • "For the family it is a tragic shattering."

It ought to be, especially when confronted with countrymen and of significant numbers, as well as a small number of statesmen who are not only in doubt. But also questions the importance or meaning of the war. As opposed to a WWII scenario, where noone doubted about the course of action. Can't be easy to lose a family member during such circumstances.
