Pause video at 0:43 and you can clearly see an impact crater where the instructor's hand was, in the upper left corner of the glass, about 3 inches from the top; used a spring loaded punch. Punch is revealed in his glove at 1:24.

Seeing as how cars go through a full spectrum of vibrations while driving down the road, we can certainly conclude this is fake, probably rigged as a gag on the firefighters in the video. But what we can't be certain of is how many people are going to go out and try this on their car anyway.

I'm more inclined to believe the older firefighter is holding a spring loaded spike, but yes, rigged nonetheless.
You'll notice the older firefighter keeps his hand on the glass, which would be counter productive and dampen the vibrations. Then, if you pause the video at 0:43, about 3 inches below the top of the glass where the older firefighter's hand was, you'll see the impact crater.

this can actually be done in another way:
Take a penny. drop it in a beer-bottle (needs to be made of glass). shake the bottle. Start slow, go faster. The Vibration will tear the bottom off totally clean. you will not be able to cut yourself on the clean taken off bottom. Go ahead and try ;)
