I love the French. I understand that they will never get it. History is a wonderful thing. This time we can't save you. We did it twice and that was enough. Fine. The French helped the US a shet load of years ago. Of course they were fighting the English at the time. I understand how things swing over the course of hundreds of years. I spent 17 years in the US Navy and worked with different NATO (the French dropped out)countries on military ASW missions. The French military did participate but what a bunch of a holes. Of all the NATO nations all pulled there weight. The French guys couldn't get their aircraft out on time every time. We had to cover their missions for whatever reason. Any military guy will say, if you can't pull the weight, get out of my way. I'm sorry, I just can't ever see the French growing enough balls to defend anyone, even their own country which is currently being overrun.
