Scorpion 1" Texas Native

I found this guy under a rock. The sting is bad watch out. If you have pain, burning, or a small amount of swelling you can treat the sting alone. But if you have hyperactivity, blurry vision, muscle twitching, tingling or roving eye movements, the sting may be poisonous and need hospital attention.

I work for the parks and wildlife dept in the last year I have been bit by so many of those scorpions I lost count. to me it's no worse then a bee sting. the first dozen or so were bad but but nothing to worry about. I also have been bitten by 5 brown recluse, 1 black widow, a handful of chiggers, and more fire ants then I care to be. I also catch the rattlesnakes, copperheads, coral snakes. but will not go near a cottonmouth! I have 3 favorite More..
