Dog kills owner

http://www.alapahabluebloodbulldogs.org/
The Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldog Association (ABBA) is the official founding registry and breed club for Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldog in the World. This type of dog was in danger of extinction until a small group of Southerners in 1979 in an attempt to rescue the Old Tymey Plantation Bulldog of the South founded the ABBA giving it the aforementioned name and dedicating them to preserving this exceptional type of dog. They set about to perpetuate the breed and to establish a standard in which to breed from. For the past 30 years, the ABBA has been the sole Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldog registry/club in the World and it’s through the hard work, dedication and passion of its members that the breed thrives today.

  • Better the owner than innocent bystanders.

  • That particular breed is not know to be vicious normally. They are normally friendly, social, and have big personalities.

As you can see, the photo of the dog owner was a jail mugshot.

    • @Armed24-7 "Old Tymey Plantation Bulldog" I wonder what it was used for on the plantations. I never heard of a specific breed labeled like that.

    • @Armed24-7 agreed. Thug breeding a gangsta dog and keeping it "real". Talking about when keeping it real goes wrong.
Love ´em, they love you back.

    • @Amusing

They were used back in the day to protect livestock. They were actually bred for their temperament toward humans and for conformity.

My wife and I are avid dog lovers. We own two dogs we rescued that were going to be put down. One was an abused puppy who had a broken jaw, broken leg, and was malnourished.

I know an ABBA breeder who brings her dogs to the same dog park we take our dogs to. Her dogs are hilarious, playful, and very sweet. But they do crave human interaction. They More..

  • Im prety sure that NIGGA wanted to raise that dog as a fighter. Did not show him any love, only beating him and teaching to be a aggressive fighter, to live up with its his owners thugg´ism.
Raise a pitt with love from a pup, nothing like this happens

  • Sad story, but one takes that chance when getting a breed that is known for being vicious. Im just glad there were no innocent children involved in this case as with many.

I would disagree with you that ABBA's are known to be vicious. They are friendly, social animals.

The dog owner was jail-bird, as per the mugshot they used in the news story. Who knows what happened here. Ghetto trash is not known for being loving and caring towards their pets. You know what I mean?

      You make a valid observation.

    • @Armed24-7
Im not arguing your comment at all and there are those cases in which they are good dogs, but the list of attacks and deaths that have occured by the breed arent limited to "ghetto trash" or "bad owners" alone. You cant argue that.

    • @gonehuntin it's like shark attacks. not everyone who has swam near a shark has been attacked, and not all sharks are listed as man-eaters, but all are capable (almost all), so people are warned to leave them all alone. it just makes sense to not mess with them.

      I haven't heard of any. I must live a sheltered life :-P

Now that you have made me curious, I will have to see what I can find out.

If you check out some pics of them they look like pittbulls but have the face of a bulldog, it's trippy as hell!

    • @LOCO-MO

As in a British bulldog? Trippy indeed.

I have sheepdog and I had a shock when a rottweiler wanted to attack my dog. Therefore, I can't stand those kind of nasty, dangerous breeds.

Yeah they are pretty savage when brought up wrong. My friend has a male Rottweiler, it's fuckin huge, scares me a bit haha

  • Brown's health is irrelevant. The stupid mutt is unquestionably responsible for the man's death since it was caused by the attack.

  • it's not the breed , it's how you raise your pup, i have two pits and they're the sweetest dogs aver , plus no person will ever die from bite punctures in the forearm !!! but typical media just brainwashing people!

    • @CAlimex crushed radius and ulna and punctured artery aren't out of the question for several breeds of domestic dogs. a human suffering those damages in a crush/puncture bite from a large dog can die before help gets there. no, they're not all bad, but not every person should have one.

  • Only way your own dog's gonna attack you is because you abuse it.

    • @TB-303 so the puppies are potentially dangerous and should be executed too.

      Posted Jul-15-2012 By

    • @TB-303 Or wake it up while it's in a deep sleep, or throw away a turkey carcass that's in reach of him and you try to take it back so he doesn't choke on it and die, or she just had puppies and they're stressing her out or she gets overly defensive with them or your having a party and someone brings another dog over that's an asshole raising the awareness of territorial instincts. use your head more

    • @TB-303 i left out the story of the one year old who climbed onto the back of the family's 6 year old 120+ pound mastiff-mix and was killed by the dog. any dog can have a hair trigger in the right situation. in that case, the dog grabbed the 1 year old by the face and neck and shook him, until the father got the dog to let go. the child died. it was a freak incident. people just need to use their brains and consider what could happen in the worst case and go from there.
