    So in closing, it's nice for the russians to create more blips for western aircraft to remove from the sky. Next time they should try something with a bit of stealth.

    • Back in the '70's a analysis of the Pentagon revealed that a direct conf. between russian SAM's and US airforce would destroy the US air force in aprox. 3 weeks, where the developement of the F117 to counterbalance.
      Do not underestimate the russian technology and russian minds.

    • I see no reason to underestimate the russians, but looking at the ease with which their systems have been bypassed, destroyed and neutralized during recent conflicts, I'm for one not impressed.

      Network centric systems combined with stealth works wonders.
