I was reminded of these videos today... i thought i would post them to remind us how bad it was..
i feel sadness when i think of 9/11 RIP to all involved in that unbelievable and tragic day.

The most tragic thing were not the deaths on that day, it were the deaths after that day (200.000+ - most conservative numbers, others talk about 2 to 4 Million deaths) due to invasion of other countries, on both sides.
Also how, because of 9-11, we gave terrorists a victory even they would have never imagined: Our freedoms were stolen by our very own governments, and continue to to this very day.

Yeap it was bad, but not unthinkable, even the X-files spin off had a story about a hijacked airliner crashing into the WTC. A simular thing happened at the beginging of Escape from New York. And a number of US agencies had had contingency plans. Neither was it a high tech complex plan all it took was some nutters with box cutters plane tickets and a little flight training. What really gets me is how they managed to fly the planes so accuratly to their targets from quite a distance inland.

Yep from 3:54 to 4:05 some of the 47 continuously welded core columns are seen. Separated from all their cross supports still straight as dies after having all the column length above their break point passed straight down and over their own axis. No radical distortion of each column, just clean breaks. I remember that as though it was yesterday. I will NEVER forget that day. Not a day goes by that I don't think of the events of 9/11.

The shame is, many people DO need reminded. And those people are adults! That's why I replied. Not to say you are in error in any way.
My teenage kids were toddlers when that attack occurred, and they do need reminded and educated more on what happened that day.
