TRUTH where do you find it ???
truth,the most elusive of all,is it just beliefs ? Or is it realy the truth ? Truth changes with time. Beliefs,change with the person.

When a lie is repeated often enough, it is perceived as the truth. It's called branding. Our politicians are now products sold to us through mass media hype.
I will always tell the American people the truth, even if they don't want to hear it.

If I rob a liquor store and get caught by the cops and they ask me if I did it and I told them "Yes" that would be the truth. When I was a youngster and I did something wrong my Mother would ask me if I did it, even though she knew I was the guilty one, and I told her "No" I would be punished for not telling the truth. So to me truth is being honest with the people around you. "Stretching the Truth", what the hell is that? To me that would make one not being honest. I suppose another definition of Truth would be what ever you belive, want to believe or believe in, but you touched on that.

Hello there B..when you started out my reply was going to be.."your standing in the middle of it" then you went there, which, knowing you, I should have known anyways.
The truth...the truth is I need to mow the grass, the truth is...why do I need to mow the grass? The truth is....I mow the grass for the benefit of others, so my home is appealing to other humans and less appealing to the woodland creatures. The truth is a relative thing is what I'm saying.
With the law, I've found that saying nothing at all was always the best option. Never admit to nothing.
I learned a couple of decades ago about my spouse, the kids and the truth. I learned to keep it to myself, smile and lie, because the truth hurts! "No honey, that dress doesn't make you look fat" or "Your doing great son, keep up the good work." Always makes me think of the line from the movie A Few Good Men,"The Truth? You can't handle the truth!"
I taught my kids that the truth is ALWAYS something that you tell yourself, and not always something you tell your loved ones or your boss, or in other words tell them that your going to do it their way and do it your way when they leave, it's the end result, in most cases, that matters and not the path by which it got there. Kind of defeats the idea of "The Truth and nothing but The Truth" or "Thou shalt not lie" right?

The truth....mmmmm....my truth at this point in time...is observing, identifying and shedding the
socially imposed truths...paying attention to my
gut...it never fails me. I try not to talk the truth
so much as live it. We are nature...it doesn't lie.
Power structures manipulate and lie. Guts can sense
that if we pay attention. Thanks for the video...

Truth never changes, only what we know about it changes and approaches or sometimes hits it over time (i.e. scientific progress, undergoing change by expansion of knowledge and permanent revision being its underlying principle).
Belief is at random, mostly comes with lack of knowledge and is subject to change over time and additionally varies per person.

If we (humans) didn't exist, would there be truth, or is truth just a construct or the human mind? If it is purely a human creation does that mean it does not really exist?
