In memory of an USAF pilot in France

In 1958, when USAF was stationed at Toul Rosière AFB, in the north east of France, a F86 with FLtn Frederic G AUREL on board, crashed fatally in the countryside near Rosière village. Organized by the mayor of the village Claude Hanrion, with the help of an association of formers members of the French Air Force11eme Wing, that followed the US Squadron on the air force base, a ceremony in memory of this american pilot who lose is life in the accident, took place the 29 of june.
The FLtn Aurel's sister was present, as some formers employees of the base, and some bouquet of flowers was laid down the memory stone of the pilot.
