  • I am very confident that the BMP shown in this video was probably the same one in this video: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=3f8_1347903601

    Look at the position of the BMP (crashed into a wall) and the construction equipment that is also nearby. I suspect the BMP may have been disabled beforehand and the rebels are "attacking" it as a bit of propaganda. You can also note that the rear doors are already open, which means it may have been abandoned already/

    • @BerndBerndsen Yeah the dumb thing was that Brown Moses, who is considered somewhat reputable among the bloggers following Syria, was using that video as an example of how "poor" the combined-arms tactics of the SAA are.

      My problem with that assertion is that the video shows nothing of how the BMP got there in the first place (since your link shows the same area in rebel hands apparently before the BMP got there) - and the circumstances of how the BMP actually was disabled is a myste More..

      After reviewing the video four times it is indeed possible that the BMP moves between 0:26 and 0:31 some centimeters forward against the wall. But it can not be ruled out that this effect is caused on a misleading camera work.
