Work commute dashcam yoursay. ***WARNING-EXTREMELY NON-GRAPHIC****
 Part of channel(s): Yoursay (promoted)

Happy Saturday LiveLeak. I know everyone here loves Dashcam videos. Unfortunately this one is not from Russia and there is no horrible crash. Just a simple pleasant drive to work with a bit of talking concerning elderly drivers. I just have to warn you, this may be extremely annoying and boring to most but at least it is a time killer. Today's drive is not as crazy as usual and I rather liked talking to myself, the drive seemed to be much more enjoyable. I hope most of you have fun with this, I am thinking of doing more of these dashcam videos in the hopes to catch something CRAZY happening. Live it up on your weekend guys!

  • Old people might be lousy drivers but are consistent voters. God help the Sunbelt politician who votes for a law to restrict driving privileges for blue-hairs.

  • Damn, Adam, I don't know how I overlooked this YS. Sorry, man. People using their cell phones while driving worry me more than the elderly driver does.

    Cheerz, Brother.

    • @-sloop- I agree. And I do bitch about it, yet it guess its just the demographic that I live around that concerns me the most.

I lived in Fl last year and had a friend/customer of mine who was on her phone and crossed over the lane and was killed. I never pull out my phone while driving.

  • Great video. I agree with your ideas on elderly drivers. Save the manuals!

  • Nice yoursay, Adam.

I envy something you probably take for granted: synchronized or sensored or timed streetlights. We still don't have that where I live, and I was used to it living everywhere else. If I was to make a "driving yoursay" it would be all cussing at why I'm at a red light when there's no cross traffic

    • @RickBond This video did no justice to what I deal with. I was kind of disappointed. Ive thought about doing this for a while now. My biggest pet peeve is when you are heading, say west, coming up to a light. It is just you driving on the road. Then at the light there is a driver heading north but they are stopped at a red light. Just before you get to the light, it turns red. And the driver waiting at the red light heading north, then turns right and heads east. even though traffic was clear in More..

  • Thanks for the ride Adam. It's one that's very familiar to me...LOL. Damn man...how far out in Surprise are you? It only takes me 15 minutes to get to Glendale from my house. I usually avoid Bell Rd like the plague though. One good thing is they got rid of those damn red light cams. There's plenty of them in El Mirage though. I had to pay over 2 bills when I ran the one on T Bird in front of Walmart...haha. I still want to stop by your shop..just have been real busy at work. Be careful out there More..

    • @papapang2007 Hahaha I just moved from there I used to live at 130th and Dysart.. Now I am the very last community at the foothills of the white tank mountains. Its a long drive man. You know exactly how bell road is and going through all of the sun cities. LOL. Its tough and touchy.

Yeah man, stop by anytime. Its next to habibs liquor at 63rd ave and bell.

  • awesome stuff. I actually just finished building a camera bracket for use as a dashcam. I made mine out of a garmin GPS holder with a suction cup, and mounted it on the windshield above my rear view mirror. it gives you a good angle and no obstruction from the wipers

  • A commute is what you make of it. I commute, and I like to take that time to listen to the news, play some music, sip on my coffee ....

Or I could stress out for 45 minutes about slow drivers, jockey for position, and try to beat the red lights ... ugh! No thanks.

My idea for you is to leave home 5 minutes earlier and relax. Really ... you can learn to enjoy the time if you know how to take advantage of it.

    • @marinemom It usually takes me an hour to get to work, yet sometimes it can take over two hours. Two days ago I left 45 minutes earlier than the hour cushion and I was 15 minutes late for work. I listen to my classic rock stations or the classical station. Its not that I worry about the slow drivers or jockeying for position. It is that I literally HAVE TO drive with the slow drivers who drive 20mph under the speed limit and the drivers who cut you off because they cant see what is on the side More..
