Moroccans stone the Spanish Border Post in Melilla
Moroccan security forces made no move to intervene, as Melilla is considered an Occupied Land by the Morrocan Government. Spain has owned Melilla continuously since 1497, when Muslims were expelled from the Iberian peninsula with the reconquest of Granada and the North African city was captured from the Muslims.
