Part of channel(s): Iraq (current event)

(January 5th, 2012) NEW - Iraqi militant commander Qais Al-Khazali admits to the killing of a British hostage taken in 2007, but waits for the US withdrawal before his confession. He claims he's " sorry about that incident" and will return the body.

This Iraqi bastard deserves nothing less than a date with a predator drone. News and info below.

(BBC) - The Iraqi militia that kidnapped five Britons in 2007 has said it will hand over the body of
the last missing man, who it said was "killed in a clash". UK authorities had suspected Alan McMenemy, from Glasgow, was dead.

The bodies of fellow security guards Jason Creswell, 39, of Glasgow, Jason Swindlehurst, 38, of Lancashire, and Alec MacLachlan, 30, of Carmarthenshire, were released in 2009. IT consultant Peter Moore, of Lincoln, was also captured but released alive.

The UK Foreign Office said it was aware of the offer to release the body of Mr McMenemy, who was 34 when he was taken captive. (click link for further info)

  • Damn, this sick religion is still in the dark ages.
Wish the world never had to be exposed to this, because slowly they're spreading their hate and carnage and sickness, like cancer.

  • On the face of it, it sounds reasonable.

They wouldn't have any reason to kill the bodyguards after such a long time of imprisonment.

    • @DEADBEEF They don't have any reason to kidnap and decapitate humanitarian aid workers. But they do.

Wrong muji group. These are Shiite. The beheadings were by radical Sunni / Al-Qaeda

    • @DEADBEEF Which beheadings are you referring to? It's a practice common to the Islamic fundamentalist world. It's not some tactic of any one particular group of terrorists.

    • @ST0N3PONY you obviously don't know the groups operating in Iraq. Al-Qaeda do it and murder on a whim. These guys genuinely see the military of the west as invaders and generally avoid civilian casualties

    • @the_MEK Ah, the only Islamic fundamentalists on Earth who are careful not to murder innocent people for Islam. If you say so.

  • lets be fair here guys, there was no need for this guy to admit anything, the fact that he has done just proves that in some cases there is remorse shown for some things that happened, those of us that have been involved in active service no very well that attempting to escape is taking a risk, and that one can be shot and killed in attempting to do so, the dead guys were not mutilated or tortured and were at least returned to be properly burried......

Yeah true, but if they were high value hostages why weren't they at least tied up a little. Also the hostage who went for the gun most likely thought he was going to be killed anyways and that's the captors fault for making him think that, since in Islam the treatment of a prisoner is very strict and humane. Whoever was watching these guys most likely made the impression that they were gonna kill them or fuck them up either way. But that's one of my guesses.

  • I know someone that guarded this man in an american prison in baghdad, i wasnt even sure if it was a real person (khazali) and i looked at him funny like he was making it up and he told me an unbelievable story to go with it. Now i realize he was actually not bullshitting me. He told me Muqtada al-Sadr was flown in from Iran to Baghdad and met with this man in an American run prison in Iraq to negotiate the release of the bodies of the Brits. He said he stood 10 feet from Al-sadr that was his tu More..

  • Never in the history of mankind, have so few owed so much to so many. Trying to protect muslims against islam is like trying to protect children against child molesters.
