  • This post kind of baits the issue by assuming that NATO would ever invade Syria, but just to play along with the thought, NATO has been aware of all of these old Warsaw pact weapons for, in some cases, 40 years, and has been working on countermeasures that would render them useless. That assumes that they would survive the airstrikes that would reduce all C3 to rubble.

    • @nutsflipped They don't need to send any ship they can send Send submarines as they did in Libya.on march 12 the uss Florida (which is one of the older Ohio class that been converted ) launched 90 bgm 109 tomahawk cruise missiles to take out air defences .they were joined by the royal navy .thats just one submarine lol ( oh we have a few more subs if needed )

  • Funny as hell. These would be some of the first targets that the airforce or SHIPborne cruise missiles would take out. Don't these idiots realize that it is the same type of propaganda that the Iraqis spewed.     • @nutsflipped Sure you can ,turn on the radar on that mobile launcher and watch a harm Missile get jammed up your ass .you cannot beat the west in a conventional war .they plan for tese things and discuss all the different scenarios .it would all be over in about 10-14 days unless they went in on the ground too

    • @markymark69 Pantsir-1 is good against missiles. Besides, Yakhont does not need to be radar guided. Just point in the general direction and it will hit that carrier, fire and forget. I can fire it from my home in Damascus and it will hit you in Cyprus.
