  • Identity politics prompts people to identify themselves more by category than by who they are as individuals. It is running the country into the ground.

    • @john1054

I think the "speak up or give up" slogan is a fear tactic to convince people who are struggling in these tough economic times that the evil Republicans would kill the social safety net.

It is common fear mongering that the dems have crafted to scare everyone into thinking if they don't have a job they'll be living on the streets next week. They program the herds to think the glorious Democratic party will rescue them and keep them cozy and warm.

I know I sound partisan but More..

  • Whats happening Smudg? Good video and yeah wtf. Politicians these days have lost touch with reality. Or like Dad says "electronic voting"? Who give a rats ass? Most Americans gave up long ago. Now they rape the system as much as possible and any way they can....

  • Here's to southern man, indestructible and an excess of wisdom and common sense, too much for the folks in Washington to take that anyone there would have an ounce of intellect! I'd be alarmed too if the HMFIC talked to me like a child. My state sold out long ago (PRK) but, so long as the southern states exist i know common sense is not dead and gone.

  • Black leaders are trying to seperate. Us against them. Maybe Obama needs to give out free high speed internet service so the blacks can see who has done more to help their cause.

  • the history part i agree with you, i think its kind of weak campaigning to say lets make history by voting for me. but speakup or giveup is a valid point. by voting you are speaking up if you dont vote ur giving up... voting is your chance to speak up.
