  • what people dont relize is that they are striking on test scores , not money , and they should have the scores to see how well they teach , how fucked up

      The test scores do not reflect high quality teaching. The tests only test very low-level skills and knowledge. The test scores reflect the quality of the families the students come from.

  • The Chicago teachers are in the process of, not only fucking themselves, but teachers across the country... these greedy scumsuckers TURNED DOWN a %30 wage RAISE, because of the new guidelines requiring standardized test results being USED to evaluate teacher performance.. a new twist (and a DAMN OVERDUE one...)that the Los Angeles teachers fought to the bitter end.
    It's about time they were judged in SOME quantative way!!!!

    • @nexus1961 I went to school in chicago, one of the shittier schools actually. If I were them I wouldnt want my teaching judged by the performance of some of those ingrates either.
