Movie Scene Challenge: A sad scene from Electric Dreams

Neil Griffith mentioned this scene from Electric Dreams so I thought I'd share it with everyone. Note that this particular scene is a bit squishy, chick oriented and not cheerful.

Total size came out to just over 98mb.

I didn't get a chance to enhance the video so that's why it looks washed out. Hopefully I'll have another mashup ready soon.

  • she wouldn't have said ANY of that shit at the end, had he been 450 pounds and zit-ridden. APPEARANCE is everything, people. EVERYTHING. Social class is secondary, then comes education.

    It's the initial sexual (appearance) attraction that makes you disregard ALL the other flags of incompatibility, and that's what causes all the problems.

  • This scene may seem "squishy," but within the context of the whole movie it is quite touching.

    ***SPOILER ALERT***

    This is the scene where the computer (who seems to have gained consciousness through an accident) sacrifices itself for the sake of the other two (the man and woman in the scene). It sent a power spike around the world through the phone line back to itself to fry its own circuits, ending a strange love triangle. It's not a great movie, but still an entertaining romantic More..
