New video has surfaced in the Casey Anthony case that shows Cindy and George Anthony’s private investigator in the same wooded area where Caylee's remains were eventually discovered.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- New video has surfaced in the Casey Anthony case that shows Cindy and George Anthony’s private investigator in the same wooded area where Caylee's remains were eventually discovered.


The Anthony’s attorney, Brad Conway, saw the tape for the first time Sunday night and he's not very happy about it because he says the person who released that video had no right to do so.

The video was shot on November 15, 2008 and shows the Anthony family's private investigator, Dominick Casey, searching through the wooded area where Caylee's body was discovered on December 11, 3 1/2 weeks later.

Conway says, a man who worked for Dominick Casey, James Hoover, took that video without their permission and tried selling it to TV stations.

Fox news channel's Geraldo, obtained the video, but did not pay for it.

Fox was given permission by the Anthony family to air the video free of charge. Conway wants to make sure Hoover doesn't make any money on this. “It is my video tape, not Mr. Hoovers and our position is, he has taken this tape from us and tried to shop it and tried to profit from a tragedy that he has no right to be involved in.”

Conway says, Dominick Casey was just searching that area, not knowing, that, that's where caylee's body would later be located.

Conway plans to go after Hoover’s private investigator license.
Hoover has not returned our calls.
