Life in Punjab State, India, in 1925
This film shows several aspects of rural life in Punjab in the first quarter of the 20th Century.
Punjab was a state in North-Eastern India. Now and since the 1947 Partition, it is a province that is aprox. 60 percent Pakistani, 40 percent Indian.
My personal comment is that even without machinery, motors and eletrical power, people seemed to be happy.
