  • In all honesty I got to feel bad for the kids. I is messed up that he had to see his mother die, that is something no 16 year old should have to see. However, I honestly don't see how continueing to fight and kill in his own city is a solution for whta happened. I can see that by loosing his mother we wouldn't detonate bombs near innocents, but what whould he do if a bullet he fired killed another iraqi civilian? cost someone else their mother? or their home?

  • Its sad he saw his mother die, but die shouldt be in that city anyway.

    The US had asked the civilians to leave the city before the upcomming assault. They didn't listen and they paid a terrible price.

  • i don't agree with the insurgency in iraq, i think wether the war was right or not the iraqi people have a great chance right now. but man i sympathize with the kid who lost his mom. if some foreign army were to come to america and kill my mother i would take up arms too.
