An Afghan policeman has shot dead At-least 1 NATO soldier in the southern part of the country.
The incident occurred on Sunday in the police headquarters of Spin Boldak district of Kandahar province, Kandahar police sources said.
The shooting happened after an argument between the foreign forces and the shooter, who was also killed when the troops returned fire.
In a statement issued late on Sunday, the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) confirmed the shooting.
The ISAF statement did not provide further details of the incident, but an Afghan official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that one translator also suffered injuries in the incident.
The number of the green-on-blue attacks, in which Afghan forces turn their weapons against foreign forces occupying their country, has increased in 2012.

@Americanalltheway i guess maybe there was a semblence of a military structure already there vs. creating one in Afgan. in hindsight we made an error in erdicating Bath party from the military. could have been a smoother transition. impossible to get anything completly right in these modern day war outbreaks.
