I'll be damned. I was begining to think that Henry Hill was immortal. After reading "Wiseguy" and all the insanity, violence, amazing stupidity, sheer criminal genius, treachery, and murder he lived in for 25 years, i'm amazed he lived this long.

Pat, my understanding is that Hill was an idiot who happened to find a way to market his knowledge of mob operations. Not all wiseguys were or are as stupid as he was. Many of them went on to hold positions of power in law and the legal system and at the time helped many a disenfranchised talent like my dad who was indeed a "made man" in the syndicate.
