How far away is the helicopter in these type of vids? Are they up close like 200 yards away or a much farther distance?

@doood they can stand off at well over a kilometre which makes it barely audible and like a dot on a sunny day. You can also work out their distance when you see/hear the shot released. count to the point of impact and that gives you a good indication. Stats on the HF are here:
