A gas station surveillance camera caught a hit-and-run accident at Haggerty and Five Mile Road just after 7 p.m. last night.
A 63-year-old Novi resident was traveling north on Haggerty through a steady green signal at Five Mile.
A vehicle traveling south on Haggerty turned left into the driver's side of the Novi resident's vehicle, causing it to roll over 3 times and eject the driver.
The Novi man was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor with severe injuries.
The hit-and-run vehicle continued east on Five Mile Road and did not stop. The vehicle is described as a newer, mid-size black pick-up truck, similar to a Dodge Dakota, with damage to the left front headlight area.
The dirver is a white male with dark hair, possibly in his 20s.
