Jimsonweed (Datura Stramonium) Dangers, Hallucinogen
Interesting video about the dangers of a particular toxic hallucinogen, known as Datura, Jimsonweed, or "Devil's weed." This stuff grows wild all around town, and I've seen some people on it, completely out of their minds. The leaves can be boiled and made into a noxious brew, or the seed pods from the plant can be eaten raw. It either produces terrifying hallucinations, or bizzare "dimensions" in the person's head, like any other hallucinogen. http://www.erowid.com further gives a biography on the plant, and it's effects on the user.
