you realise SAW is an acronym for squad automatic weapon? and not m249.
so yeah, that is a SAW.

@420pm Why isn't the 240 called a SAW? Why isn't .50 or Mark called a SAW? They are automatic weapons that are utilized in a squad. The 249 and SAW are one in the same.

@ParkwayDrive1976 All I'm saying bro, is that SAW is not the name of the 249. For example the British SAW is the L86A1 LSW, the Russain SAW is the RPK, the Chinese SAW is the QBB-95, the 240 & 249 are both SAWs. Its just that video games and movies have used the 249 as the SAW, so its commonly thought that SAW means M249, which it doesnt. Are we on the same page now?
