Very interested to hear from anyone familiar with this concept or who's community uses a form of alternative currency.

If, through manipulation, the system works to the disadvantage of the majority of those who use it... If our futures are directly tied to the caprices and chicanery of those in control of that system... then it is incumbent upon us, as individuals, to do everything in our power to reduce the influence and control that the system has over our daily lives.

Every measure you take to reduce your needs and to acquire goods and services through alternative means, is one less string to be manipulated by... one less government or corporate finger in your pie.

Our country was founded upon individualism and self-sufficiency and, most of all, freedom from government and institutional intervention in our daily lives. We will never take back control of government and corporations if we don't take back control of our own lives first.
