Heard it said on a nature programme about crocs , it's never had an evil thought in its life , stuck with me , coz if it wants to kill you its only coz its hungry , if it aint it wont even chase you .

That's true, croc handlers actually train crocodiles to be a little more "croc handler friendly" by making sure they are well fed and get use to have the handlers who will dominate them in close contact with them.
You also dont train a crocodile the same way as you would a dog IE: by giving Rover a treat, a pat and telling him what a good little doggie he is. You can only train a crocodile not to be so aggressive, but it would never stop a crocodile trying to eat you if & when he More..

Oh damn, I almost forgot to mention that though during mating and nesting season in the warmer months, the saltwater crocodiles get very territorial, and aggressive as they fight with other males for female mates, then go into the nesting areas and help the females to defend the nesting site.
But predominately you are right, they wont kill any other time of the year unless they are hungry, and they can also go a very long time without eating.

Saw the autopsy of a couple a crocs in America on here . I knew the brain wasn't big , size of a walnut , but I suppose that's all it needs . No room for emotions in there .
