advert put out by HMG to schools and media outlets about climate change
a lot of people could be easily swayed by the fast moving images of severe weather phenomena and evocative language believing it to be 'all man's fault'. There's no mention of the role that Volcanoes has upon climate. it sounds more like propaganda than genuine information. The government are not silly though, they probably have a reason for releasing this video.

I don't buy into global warming, I think it is the natural cycle of the earth. With that being said I do support recycling and not being dependent on oil. That's right, I'm a weird one.

So what do we do when governments and scientists can claim that every weather occurrance is the byproduct of humans?
The reality is that weather is now being used as a fear mechanism in an effort tax and regulate all productivity.
We humans should strive to live in a symbiotic relationship with the natural world but as the free market allows.

P.S. Just to put a dampener on your text, volcanoes are not an important source of CO2 and they have a net global cooling effect from aerosols.

I certainly don't agree with your general message, but I am always keen to make sure rebuttal of your sort is based on facts.
My general message is the 'science' is especially flawed in historic reconstructions and in the atmospheric radiation modelling.
I previously developed physics / computer models of the atmosphere and I know how fallible they are.

My time as an atmospheric modeller was prior to youtube and I'm certainly not going to reveal my LL identity by citing my papers.
However, ask me any hard technical questions about atmospheric modelling and I'll give you good answers.
I'll ask you one for starters.
How long does it take a typical long wave photon to travel from ground level to escape the atmosphere? Obviously not the photon, but the the energy associated with that photon?
