Interesting Jetpack Test Flight by Troy Hartman
This video documents the "Phase 2" testing of the Personal Jetpack, toward the development of the Jet Wing (alternate version to that of Yves Rossy's). Phase 1 testing was previously done on skis, demonstrating fast uphill ascents and reaching a top speed of 47 mph. See link below:

The position of the body during flight looks pretty silly.
Not even close to Yves Rossy's achievements, but he does a lot of talking instead.

These are R/C aircraft engines on his back. The risk is in them coming apart at 100,000+ RPM, setting the fuel on fire (along with the person....while still airborne).
Crazy.

@777 I would expect a jet-pack vid release to be without a 'chute. Dont false advertise "one Bollock". ....your aptly named!

Sorry but nobody is able to create energy, only in some cases it is possible to transform one form of energy to another form ...
Please review your physics lessons before.

@LibertyEqualitySauerkraut I have to disagree with you...an atom is inert until you split it. get yer facts right!

@777 Sorry but when you split an atom you transform mass to kinetic energy following the well known formula : E=mC2

@LibertyEqualitySauerkraut to quote you in case you have had a sudden bout of alzheimers.."Sorry but nobody is able to create energy, only in some cases it is possible to transform one form of energy to another form ..."
Mass into energy is creating energy
correct me if i am wrong, that is not transforming one type of energy into another but creating energy from mass is it not?

@777 and before you say it..all thing created have "potential" energy no matter what it is...yes, I know my physicz!! they have it as potential, you need to release the potential but as it stands, in the "potential" state it is not physical(or more so, actual) energy. so there! put that in yer pipe and have a good time!.(Tobbacco+spark=flame)
