Norman Dodd was a banker/bank manager, who worked as a financial advisor and served as chief investigator in 1953 for U.S. Congressman B. Carroll Reece Special Committee on Tax Exempt Foundations; he was primarily known for his controversial investigation into tax-exempt foundations. He provided evidence that the Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, and Carnegie
Endowment were using funds excessively on projects at Columbia, Harvard,
Chicago University and the University of California, in order to enable
oligarchical collectivism.
