An open complaint that Liveleak has unknowingly featuring fabricated Syrian propaganda videos on several occassions, the latest being the "man burried alive". It is not believed that Liveleak is doing this deliberately, but rather they have a difficult job in finding the fakes sometimes. Watch until the end of the video clip to see and hear the fabrication, the clip has been edited with commentary on the important part.

The video of the "man burried alive" seems to depend on the viewers not knowing Arabic and not understanding the important message of the video, which will hinder them from finding the fabrication. The message of this video is that the soldiers are supposedly telling him that there is only Bashar Al-Assad, and he is supposedly replying "There is no God except the One True God, and His Messenger is Muhammad". This is the testimony of Islamic faith, disbelieving it will make anyone an apostate from Islam. It is also uttered by the faithful at the time of expected death. This is the main message of the video, a propagandist takfiri false call to jihad against the Syrian government.

Dubbing this wording onto the video was very very important. The video looses its meaning without these words. And the dubbing is very clear. It almost as bad as a badly dubbed Indian movie. Dirt covers his mouth while he is half way through this important testimony, and his words are not in the least affected, not even when a rock smacks his head, still in the same sentence. This is so obviously a fabrication.

What the video really shows, if it is real, is unknown.

I don't criticise Liveleak moderators for this, I have also fallen for these tricks. I previously uploaded a similar video said to show an Emirati father murdered and cemented into a barrel supposedly by his own son, with Koranic verses about good treatment of the parents dubbed over the video, until another Liveleaker pointed out the video was fake and actually from Mexico.
