  • Speed traps are for making money and have nothing to do with safety. I got a speeding ticket once because the speed limit was 25mph, the area is a forest preserve, the road has 2 lanes in each direction and the speed limit drops from 45mph to 25mph. I was not speeding intentionally, I just didn't pay attention to the frigging speed limit signs as you wouldn't expect a 25mph limit on a highway in the middle of nowhere.

      There is a spot near my old home on a friggin highway, the speed limit goes from 90 down to 40 because there is a single house out in the middle of no where, I always see a cop parked in the guys drive way waiting for the poor fool to get a 50km over ticket,

      for 50 over they impound the car and charge you 10 grand btw.

  • Soviet USA yet again.. Speed traps are supposed to be for safety. If this womans sign slows traffic then the job has been accomplished. I am surprised she was not carted away to a mental hospital for life like that guy Jew hater in the Barny suit. Freedom of speech in America is dead.

      If your talking about the entire protect and serve bit. The Police don't protect anybody. They just take down the story after the fact. They don't stop crime they document it.

    they gotta meet their quota, and don't bs me saying there isn't, here in CA, an LAPD officer is in court suing to get his job back because he didn't want to participate in the quote and then didn't meet his quotas.

  • In all probability, it was a case of "revenge." If I can't get her for one thing, I'll get her for another.

    It IS difficult being a good cop. Although they are not (or should not) be above the law, sometimes they can (and it is no excuse) be pushed beyond reason.
