  • I thought Philadelphia had strict gun control laws...how is this possible? How could guns get in the hands of these killers when laws were passed forbidding it? Shouldn't we feel safe in these cities with strict gun control? (Please recognize extreme sarcasm)

      By the way...I live in Arizona where anyone not convicted of a felony, or otherwise have their rights to carry a weapon taken from them, can carry any gun, unregistered, in their wastebands or pockets anytime they want. We have had no problems with this law and our crime rate is a small fraction of many places with far more strict gun laws...The lesson is: Criminals in cities who know they are the only one's with guns will use them far more than in places where they don't know who may More..

    • @Johnls It sounded to me like most of the killings were police killing suspects of crimes. I'm not assigning blame but my guess would be some additional training would be a good thing.

      Chicago LAUGHS at you lightweights. They're up to 300 murders now with 1,400+ shot so far.

      Makes me glad that I'm in Toronto where despite an increase in gun violence, we're still at about 32 murders and 140 or so shootings so far. If you remove all the black murders, we'd be down to 9 for the year.
