  • Ohh Prof. Noam Chomsky oh mighty oh lord- common he's by far the biggest human trash can on earth. Muzzi's all over the world are bombing buses, killing and raping women and children sucking on europe wellfare system, imposing themself on the sane majority ( which not so far from now may become minority ), and this "enlightened" Prof. sitting in his ivory tower is saying that we have nothing to fear from. 100% BS. There is nothing to fear only if one's actively opposing their imposing a More..

    • @MB-UK I refuse to consider a suicide bombings, killing of inocent children and religious fanaticism in general as a ridiculos acts, especially if they are deriving mostly by one religion only. I rather think that "fear" in this case is pretty much healthy, promoting activism and preventing even a worse case of "apathy" in the face/age of religious imposing.

    • @MB-UK I believe that in most cases the truth can be found somewhere in the middle and people should always stick to facts and learn to analyze the information they are beeing feed on, especially when they are sharing their opinions. I don't think that what I just wrote here is detached from reality and I think we agree on this one.

    • @buoymarker In my opinion, its how the bible and such were written.

All the religious books, in my opinion, were written to control the ignorant masses of 1st generation people.

A entity of smarter scholars in these societies wrote their own version so they could make the masses of their culture do what they wanted them to do. To make bad people fear the unknown, and turn to better ways.

    • @MB-UK
So you're saying Brits have very little problems with Muslims then? Really?

If that's the case, then why do they have such power over the government there? You don't see that as a big issue??

And why are people protesting against Muslims then? You're saying their concern and worry is completely unfounded and overreaction? >_>

    • @qwerty4242 how do you figure... this documentary to me is saying dont let the media, tv, commercials fool you... it not as bad as they make it out... i personally think there right to some extent but the chances are as real as the rape or break in or random shooting it self

  • Liberalist tripe. I wouldn't be surprised if it is an attempt to convince people that we live in a utopia of sorts, and that we shouldn't rock the boat. No one (very, very few of us) live in a state of fear. Many of us are cautious and prepared. Duck and cover was a very sound strategy for people to learn in the early days of the Cold War should they be caught out in the open during a nuclear strike, which was a real possibility. Just look at the many times we came close to it. There are lots of More..

    • @Hunterseeker "Make it so."

anyway, the media sensatoinalizes everything. that's the point of the vid. not to say bad things don't happen, its the chances of things happening. according to the vid, 68,000 kids a year are poisoned, but there is no show with stone philips called "to catch a poisoner".

  • If you censor all "bad news" and start to show only positive things on tv, the world will not change! There still will be rapes, murders, wars and terrorists, cuz they existed way before radio and tv were invented. Media does not create problems, it just informs about them.

    • @DirtyUncleBerty I agree that brainwashing and manipulations take place through mass-media. But I do not agree with the point, that media just create "enemies" and "fears" out of nothing. Many times they do exist, and do threat.
