I believe that was a great white. looked like one anyway. I think I'd have been quickly making my way toward shore leaving a trail of brown water behind me.

Ive been in a kayak with something almost that big, about twenty feet away. It shook its head on my live bluefish bait, and ripped my rod holders, milk crate, etc down around me. I got my stuff straight and headed for shore
For the record, the Inuit used seal skin kayaks....and the primary food source of killer whales.....are seals.
There are stories of Inuit coming back with the 'thousand yard stare', never to get in a kayak again.
