KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Driver suffered serious injuries, lost consciousness

Kansas City police they have arrested one person in connection with an assault on an ATA bus driver earlier this week.
assault, which was captured on a security camera on the bus, showed a
man exiting the bus and punching the driver in the head on the way out.
The driver suffered serious injuries and lost consciousness, but has since returned to work.Investigators said the attacker was part of a group that had been thrown off the bus for not paying the fare.
have not released the name of the person they arrested or what led them
to him. They said charging documents would likely be released sometime
over the weekend.
The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority released a statement about the arrest:

been made in the Oct. 1 assault of a Metro bus operator. We would like
