I particularly like the way you got the animal cornered and scared shitless before you killed it. Feels good huh?

I am a hunter.
I've accumulated several nice 8 point whitetail wall mounts to prove it.
But I don't understand this.
This is as sporting as walking up to a cattle pen and shooting into it.
This aint hunting. This is just shooting.

@wharris I hear ya there, I'd like to have more info on this. Was it a culling or just a killing.

Agreed.
I mean, I could construct a scenario in which this was legitimately necessary or required.
But in all cases, it’s just not hunting, its shooting.
Which might explain why the video is titled; "Archery Mountain Lion Kill"

@wharris I agree. I'm glad that hunting cougar in Washington State with dogs is illegal. Have to hunt mono y mono.
I only hunt what I eat. Hunting for trophies alone is not my thing at all.

I'm not some kind of PETA nutcase and while I don't hunt myself, I understand why people do. However, this didn't seem like hunting or sport. It seemed like a big cat up a tree that got executed. Personally, I think that was pretty horrible.

I hate the use of dogs for hunting larger game... Inhumane and no skill required. The dogs just chase them up trees and howl for the hunters to come get their kill... like shooting fish in a barrel.

Was this animal control or just for kicks? If the latter I hope you and your boyfriend get brain cancer and die slowly and painfully. Disregard if former.

It takes a real man to shoot a cat in a tree. Pathetic!

It seems awfully cowardly to use baying dogs to tree a powerful animal you'd never otherwise approach, and then slaughter it with an arrow from your safe dog-protected spot.
That's no more sporting than shooting it with a joystick controlled gun over the internet.
Try evening the odds by leaving the dogs at home and tracking the cat on your own, chicken-boy.
No, you like a rigged game.
Coward.
