  • they do the minimum to control the border and yet somehow its ok for them to set up checkpoints hundreds of miles from the borders in some cases and run all of us through like criminals.
    bullshit.

  • The United States is now a police state. You see this is Nazi Germany. Next step they shoot you for not showing your papers.

  • It's astounding the number of so-called Americans on another thread who side with the cops in this video. Many of them are the same ones who call them pigs and rush to condemnation in other videos.

Every U.S. citizen should be doing what this guy is doing at these checkpoints, every time. If we had any sense of responsibility left as citizens, we would not put up with this.

They are doing this very slowly. Just like a python, gradually constricting until we will find ourselves out of breath, More..

"If we had any sense of responsibility left as citizens, we would not put up with this."

So what should you all get together and do to stop this?

They still did the background check on this guy by running his plate so his complaining didnt really do shit.

      So whats your point?

That people borrow other people's cars? So what? Will that change anything when you go through a roadside check? Not unless you change "borrow" to "steal"...

And then the roadside check would be a good thing, wouldnt it? Catch a car thief and stuff like that..

I think you better lay off the weed x-dead-head.

And you are an "x" deadhead with Jerry dead, aren't you?

Why don't you just keep dancing whenever the cops ask you to do it, and let the people asserting their right do their thing, no offense, but it seems that you are already a big sheep that they can handle in any way they want.

  • Way to go guy thank you for demanding your rights, Cops age getting way out hand and making up the rules as they go. It's getting to the point we in America are going to have to start equipping our cars with cameras like a lot of Russians are doing just for out own protection. I fully believe they suspected or saw that you had a camera and that is the only reason they didn't jerk you through the window and totally violate your rights.

    • @gcarey01 those were Border patrol pussies who cant tell the difference between an American and a wetback--shit--just wait till the poster gets screwed with by the new TSA checkpoint shit

  • I heard that-the threat to detain--fucking assholes--detain means arrest for if you are not allowed to do as you freely choose then you are arrested-there is no such thing as detaining. They still ran your plate, IE if its your car they know where you live. Interesting point though, How exactly does one prove to the peanutheads that one is a US citizen? I mean what? Do I have to carry my one and only REAL birth certificate around? Do or must I go get a passport? Really I mean what does a WHITE A More..

  • I honestly think some of these border patrol agents are able to realize your an American citizen and if you express your rights and the fact that they have no probable cause or reason for stopping you, they are molesting you so they dont want to pursue any further action, but i feel as if they nab a lot of people with warrants and shit doing these "checkpoints" so they will just give you a pass sometimes without running you through NCIS so they dont have to transport some American with More..

  • So, what some here are saying is... The sole purpose of these checkpoints is to violate the rights of every ordinary citizen that happen to go though there.

    Posted Jul-11-2012 By

    • @blindmonkeysmojo no thats not what im saying...the point of Checkpoints are to find illegal immigrants who are not documented...But when doing that it infringes on Americans rights.

    • @11ACRShifty
What if it is an American that is smuggling drugs or illegals?

Understand... I grew up 3 miles north of the busiest border crossing in the world. And I use to party in TJ alot when I was younger.

    • @blindmonkeysmojo Its still unconstitutional

      Posted Jul-11-2012 By

      (2)

    • @11ACRShifty I think that if the sole intent of the check point was simply to violate ones rights then it would be unconstitutional. But, what if there was a legitimate reason for it?

      Posted Jul-12-2012 By

      (-2)

    • @blindmonkeysmojo Your premise is absolutely false. Stopping and detaining someone with no reasonable suspicion of a crime, just to force them to prove that they haven't committed a crime, is completely unconstitutional, and violates several basic rights.

  • How many people object to checkpoints when they are for DWI? At least in Texas, they are still held as unconstitutional.

    Posted Jul-11-2012 By

    (1)

    • @Texas TEA Well here in Northern Virginia we still have DWI Check points all the time..

      Posted Jul-12-2012 By

      (0)

    • @Texas TEA As much as I detest drunks- I personally will NOT subject myself to a drunk checkpoint, and furthermore they are going to have to shoot my ass before i consent to giving them any blood-which can then not only be used to see if I was telling the truth about not drinkingt and driving, but to be used in a massive DNA database without my approval--I willingly will blow into the breathalyzer, but thats it--and I dont even trust that shit, because without an attorney present it comes down to More..

    • @11ACRShifty Virginia cops suck

      Posted Jul-12-2012 By

      (1)

  • Well, the problem is that the cops still did the check on this guy while he sat there and whined...

Face it, the u.s. is now a police state and will forever be a police state.

You can bitch and complain about it all you want but it wont change a thing....
